I can't show you much in the way of Scandanavian Credit Cards, but you are more than
welcome to explore my interests in things digitisable....
I have lots of interests ... but we can't show all of them here ... the kids might see!
To make navigation around this place easier, I thought I'd divide my
pictures and discussion about places into:
places I've stayed or lived in (like for more than a month)
- Finland where I am now...
- Japan where I lived for a few years
- Korea I first visited in 2000 while living in Japan, and I returned in 2005 where I stayed there as an exchange student
- India was an interesting 4 weeks back in 2001 while I was living in Japan, and went to again in 2007 (for among other things Training and certification in Oracle)
- Australia where I am from ...
places I've simply visited
- China was an interesting 3 weeks after our stay in Korea
- Russia since its just over the border, I took a 3 day trip there from Finland.
(The Finns call it "venaja" (pronounced "venaya" for Aussies among other less repeatable names)
- Canada where a good friend of mine lives. I went to visit him for a while
- a quick stopover in Thailand, just incase none has mentioned this, beware of the auto rickshaw drivers conning you into 'saphires'
- while in Japan, I visited a Balinese friend from my student days at Griffith Uni in Bali
Photographs
So I'm interested in photography (a nudge's as good as a wink to a blind bat).
I've spent quite a bit of time trying to understand the chemical and now electronic
photogaphic realm so I've got a few pages I've put together (and keep changing) about
digital photography
and how to get the most from it. As well I've got a few pages on general photographic
principles (like Depth of Field) and some general tips on taking batter pictures.
I still use film, but I don't really use 35mm film much anymore, but I do use
4x5 inch sheet film. This changes the equation significantly when
comparing what results you can get.
As I like to spend some time taking photographs ... yep you guessed it ... I
have here
for those with little enuff time on their hands and wanna have a look
(whatever) ....
Other TOYS
Anyway working (or not working as the case may be ;-) on my true love is one of my
major areas of endeavour at the moment ... restoring / rebuilding my
1964 HONDA S600.
This little Darling has is a beautiful car to drive, and if you like open top
motoring and are offered a ride in one ... don't miss the opportunity
Then there's Motorcycles ... I tried 'performance' cars in my younger
daze ... but they didn't really seem to like me that
much....
So I chose to stick to bikes. Over the years I have had a veritable
parade of different bikes ... although I don't
have pictures of all of them, you can see a few of them at that page
