Biography
1980 - Studied piano tuning under the tutelage of Mr Graeme McGowen at Allan's Music, Melbourne.
1985 - Accepted after testing for membership in the Piano Tuners and Technicians Guild of Victoria.
Ongoing studies included training sessions with Herr George Ammann of Steinway Hamburg in the tuning and preparation of Steinway concert instruments.
Influential mentors were Mr Bryan Davison in the peculiar art of tuning and technical preparation for the concert stage, and Mr Robert Ruggeri in the art of piano rebuilding.
